Sep. 9th, 2004 10:04 pmTrying out the Mozilla browser, which turns out to have an extension to operate my lj account o_O
Funky browser, gotta love the number of extensions on an open source project. Mind you, it needs extensions for a lot of the things Opera does natively, like properly-implemented tabbed browsing. Even without that, I like its mail client a lot better than Opera's. Either of them beat Outlook hands down, though xD

More Video Ezy blues, dammit.
Sep. 4th, 2004 07:52 pmWell, Samurai X was mediocre, which meant it was watchable, but not particularly enjoyable. More of a boredom filler. I mean, the storyline was cliched, the characters were flat, and the combat was fairly lame. At least the artistry was pretty good.
And chocolate icecream after dinner was helpful; like anyone needed to know that xD

Video Ezy blues -.-"
Sep. 4th, 2004 06:12 amDammit, I got out a couple animes and Final Fantasy (the movie) from Video Ezy last night, but the FInal Fantasy dvd is so friggin' scratched up it can't play past scene 7. When I return that, I'm going to give them plenty of shit for ruining my shabbat evening >.<
Mind, the Bubblegum Crisis dvd worked perfectly, and was pretty funny to boot. I'll watch Samurai X later, probably tonight. And Baldur's Gate II doesn't get along well with Windows XP, I've sepnt the last hour figuring that out. Either that, or my computers fucked. I need a goddam laptop. Even my Linux boot isn't working, won't run XMMS or LimeWire, meaning that I can't transfer anything over to Linux if I want my music running properly. I'm tempted to switch from Madrake to Fedora Core sometime veeeery soon.
Also, I've finally got The Da Vinci Code- my grandma brought it to shabbat dinner last night. Gotta read that sometime; I started reading a copy on a twelve hour train trip some time ago, but never got to finish it.
Bleh. Exams are going to kill me if anything does.

Well, I was just patronized for ranting about an old computer game in my livejournal. Now I feel really special >.<
And it's a damn good old computer game, excluding the stupid train station level.
Anyway.
I need a life. Which would mean getting off my ass and doing something. Maybe next year x_X
Yeah, about feeling special, today I've been called an idiot, a weirdo, Harry Potter, .avi, child prodigy, a party pooper, and countless other things. Come on, how many people have trouble keeping track of their own (often unwanted >.<) nicknames? o_O
I think maybe three people actually called me Avi. No, make that four or five ^^

Aug. 30th, 2004 09:45 pmGood God, please shoot me; I have a livejournal. And I'm posting in it.
Which means I must be bored as fuck ^^
The sheer amount of homework I've let pile up isn't helping, either. Anyway, I got Descent 3 working on winXP by running it in Direct3D rather than DirectX, which should curb my boredom as soon as I finish my work for the night and blast a few rogue robots. Descent 3 is an awesome old game (1999- about five years old now!), and so ahead of its time. Of course, by today's standards, it isn't brilliant, but it used the technology of the time to such good effect that it still looks good. Thank God for developers who care :P
Anyway, that's my ramble for the day.
This is kinda good for release. Chances are next to nobody will read this, but that's probably a good thing in the long run xD
And that was my first ever livejournal post. Someone shoot me, or slap me or something. I've fallen so far >.
