I seem to be consistent about finding out about concerts a day or two ahead... which is not generally conducive to being able to go. Either I can't make it, the tickets are sold out, or I can't find anyone else to go. This has happened to me a good few times now xD

Nothing to do but smile and laugh about it, I guess :p

At least I have Opeth tickets already for a few months now. I got paranoid about that after just missing a Neil Gaiman Q&A session, and I've managed to assemble three others coming along... and possibly two more that we might meet at the concert if they manage to afford tickets in time.

I'm not sure if I'd laugh or cry in the case that something came up to prevent that from all working out. I might just kill a poor, defenceless imaginary friend, or something. >_>

I'm totally up with that idea. Only, this time, you pick the day and place, since my schedule is considerably less restricted than yours :p

Instead of going to VNV Nation, I ended up meeting up with some friends and cracking open a bottle of whiskey... but I kept thinking that where I really wanted to be was at that concert and hanging out in the city after :p

Awesomes, although I don't really know anything about what clubs are good or whatever... I've heard of Club Blink at the Agincourt Hotel, or upon googling, Die Maschine, Abduction or Vortex are apparently more niche-like and industrial.

Well, you're welcome to my whiskey. It's good stuff- my friend Stan doesn't even like whiskey and he appreciated it xD

I've been to blink; it's fun once or twice for novelty, but then you notice that it's actually just full of drugged-up kids. Haven't been to any of the others, but I do know a few people who'd happily go check them out with us :)
